SOLAR CONVERTERS

SOLAR CONVERTERS

The possible applications for solar converters are essentially of three types:

- Connected systems to the electricity network
- Isolated systems
- Hybrid systems

CONECTED SYSTEMS

The most efficient application is the one that the solar panels are conected to the electric net. This connection in reality is configured as a small electricity power plant production. When the solar panels energy's production overcomes the self consumed amount, the excess is sent to the concessionaries' electric net and paid by those. That compensation is dependent in substantial way of the foreseen incentives of the norms of the countries that already provided the regulation of the sector.

ISOLATED SYSTEMS

In the areas without electric feeding or with a very weak net, the solar panels are an important source of energy, that, once produced, is stored in batteries banks to be used when necessary.

HYBRID SYSTEMS

Energy generation systems that use different sources: eolic, solar, diesel generator, batteries, etc. In a hybrid system there is monitor action of the different existing sources to optimize the uses of these several origins.
